Empowering You in 2022: February 22, 2022

February 22, 2022 at 12pm. Register here

Empowerment is the act of giving someone more power or control.

All too often I see people waiting to be empowered. I’ve learned that if you are waiting for a manager, HR, a mentor, or someone to empower you, you’ll be waiting for a long, long time.  Sure, other people can make you feel more empowered, but true empowerment comes from within.

When you feel empowered, everything changes. Feelings of inadequacy, overwhelm, and work pressures decline. You no longer feel stuck in a cage without a key to free yourself. Instead, you realize most of the boundaries of that cage, you created. When you don’t feel empowered, your self-talk is on an endless loop of negativity, telling you that you aren’t enough, that there’s no need to speak up because no one wants to listen to you, and that you don’t deserve a seat at the table. All of these feelings cause you to silence your voice and your dreams.

It all centers around empowerment. When you are self-empowered you get things done which makes you more confident.  When you’re confident you stop holding back and start speaking up. You know you deserve a seat at the table and are self-aware of your value. You confidently show up with all your capabilities, value, and ideas.

During this session, Peggy will cover the process for developing personal empowerment.  And, what you learn can be used to look at life and your career, or to help you to deal with a single issue.

Learning  Highlights and Outcomes:

  • How to reflect on what’s holding you back
  • How to discover what you really want for 2022
  • How to develop the confidence you need to go after your goals
  • And the big one, how to implement self-leadership to make it happen
